This is a unique course that provides tips and tricks and guidance in all forms of communication. Winning Communications is a comprehensive class on verbal, written, and presentation communications.
With writing, we will learn best practices in writing, such as avoiding passive voice, and tools in Microsoft Word to help proofread and correct grammar/spelling. With written communication, you will learn proper letter, text and email etiquette, and which tools are best to convey your message. Our oral communication covers phone etiquette and presentation tools. You will learn how to use vocal techniques, including diction, accents, projection, and pitch. Finally, we will learn proper body language and eye contact for in-person presentations and on-line presentation.
Here’s the items we will cover in detail:
- Verbal – Vocal projection, diction, and pronunciation,
- Written – Correct grammar, punctuation, and style,
- Presentation – Formal and informal presentation techniques and on-line versus in person presentation styles.
This interactive workshop explores all forms of communication. With this session, I encourage all participants to use video, and I’ll unmute your mic/phone, as we will help each other in our communications. Seeing and hearing you in this session is important to enhance your learning and practice presenting via Zoom.
